DEEOIC Medical Care for Energy Workers in Las Vegas, NV: Nevada Test Site, DOE, and Atomic Workers
Who we serve
Many of the men and women who built and operated America's nuclear weapons complex, ran reactors, refined uranium, or worked on or near the Nevada Test Site spent decades on the job before any of the health effects they now live with had a name. The EEOICPA was written to take that history seriously. Our role is straightforward: provide attentive, specialty-level medical care for the conditions covered by your claim, and produce documentation that supports the program, without making you build the file yourself.
We see DOE employees and contractors, former Nevada Test Site workers, uranium miners and millers, atomic weapons workers, and family members who qualify as covered survivors. Initial evaluations and any in-house testing, including pulmonary function testing for occupational lung disease, happen at our clinic, and follow-up visits can be in person or by secure telehealth.
