Dr. Anisa Valina, DO
Triple board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. A longtime Las Vegas resident, she trained at UNLV and Touro University. Dr. Valina also cares for patients in intensive care at Spring Valley Hospital, so she treats lung disease at every stage, including the most serious cases.

Our in-house pulmonary function lab measures how well your lungs move air and pass oxygen into your blood. Testing includes spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion capacity (DLCO). A 12-lead EKG happens in the same building. One visit, one location, faster answers.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Plan on about an hour. Dr. Valina reviews your symptoms, medications, smoking history, and any work or home exposures. She examines you and orders lung testing when needed, often the same day.
You leave with a written plan in plain language and clear next steps. If you need chest imaging, we order the scan and walk through the results with you at your follow-up.
Coordinated Care for Your Lungs, Kidneys, and More
Lung problems often overlap with blood pressure, kidney health, and other conditions. Dr. Valina works down the hall from nephrologist Dr. Jordana Cheta, MD, and our primary care team. When you need a second specialist, the handoff happens inside our clinic, not across town.
Care for Federal Workers, Energy Workers, and Injured Nevadans
Dr. Valina evaluates accepted respiratory conditions under DOL/OWCP and DEEOIC, including former Nevada Test Site workers. We also accept Nevada workers' compensation claims. We write PFT reports and clinical notes with your claims examiner in mind.

We are in network with all insurers, including Humana, except Health Plan of Nevada (HPN) and Intermountain.
