Adult Psychology in Las Vegas, NV
Good therapy is more than a place to vent. The patients who get the most out of psychology come away with a clearer understanding of what's driving their distress, concrete skills they can use between sessions, and a relationship with a clinician who is paying attention. Our psychologists use evidence-based approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-focused approaches, and others, chosen to match the problem rather than chosen first.
Areas we work with
We see adults for generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, adjustment to chronic medical illness, grief, health anxiety, sleep difficulties tied to mental health, and work- related stress. We coordinate with psychiatry when medication is part of the plan and with our medical specialists when chronic illness is in the picture.
For federal workers
Federal employees with accepted DOL/OWCP mental health claims and energy workers with accepted DEEOIC conditions can receive psychological treatment as part of their covered care.
How sessions work
After an initial evaluation, sessions typically run 45–60 minutes, usually weekly to start. Some patients work with us for a focused course and graduate; others stay longer for ongoing support. Telehealth is available for many situations.
