Behavioral Health
Psychiatry and Psychology in Las Vegas, NV
Mental health care works best when the medication side and the therapy side actually talk to each other. Our psychiatry and psychology teams share a roof, a record, and a referral pattern, so you do not end up retelling your story three times to different offices. New patients receive a full diagnostic evaluation, a clear formulation, and a treatment plan that fits your life.
Who this service is for
We see adults, 18 and over, with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress, adult ADHD, bipolar spectrum conditions, and adjustment reactions to medical illness. We also see federal and energy workers whose behavioral health symptoms are part of an accepted DOL or DEEOIC claim, and we coordinate documentation accordingly.
What we provide
- Comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluation
- Medication management and follow up
- Individual psychotherapy with evidence based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy
- Adult ADHD assessment
- Coordinated care with primary care, pulmonology, and nephrology when medical conditions and mood overlap
- Referral to our Spravato (esketamine) service for adults with treatment resistant depression
What to expect at your first visit
The first psychiatry visit is approximately an hour. We review your symptom timeline, prior treatments, medical history, and family history. If you have been on previous medications, bring the list, including what worked and what did not. Your clinician will explain the working diagnosis, the rationale for the plan, and the expected timeline before changes are felt. First therapy visits with our psychologists follow a similar structure focused on goals, fit, and treatment approach.
In-house diagnostics
Some psychiatric workups need labs to rule out medical contributors such as thyroid disease, vitamin deficiencies, or medication levels. Routine labs and EKG are available in the same building, which matters when starting medications that affect cardiac conduction.
Insurance and access
We accept most major insurance plans, OWCP, and DEEOIC. Humana and HPN are not accepted at this time. In office and telehealth visits are both available, with new patient evaluations typically in person. Se habla español.
